As District leadership continues to meet, opportunities for new clubs are being identified. One club being formed this year is a cyber club focused on serving disabled youth at Camp Pacifica. While there is currently a 2-week camp for Hearing-Impaired children they are looking to expand to other areas of disability such as Diabetic and Visually-Impaired youth and beyond. If you know of someone who has a family member with a disabled child or someone who has a passion for serving disabled youth and might be interested in joining a Lions cyber club that will meet virtually, please send their information to PCC Logan McKechnie and he will contact them. There is limitless work to be done at the camp which will provide an opportunity for in person service and fellowship once Shelter-In-Place regulations permit.
This is an exciting opportunity to form our first cyber Lions club in District A1. There are many successful cyber clubs around the state, and in fact many of our clubs have become cyber clubs recently for fellowship and service.
PCC Logan is looking forward to hearing from you. You can email him or call him at 209-769-2400.
